Sydney, Aug 28 : New Zealand bowling coach Damien Wright has announced
that he would resign from his post after the World T20 in Sri Lanka next
month.
Wright, who has spent just a year as coach, said he was leaving because he needed to be closer to home and near his family.
“It has been a privilege to work with current crop of bowlers and I''m proud of the progression they have made over the past year,” The Age quoted Wright, as saying.
New Zealand Cricket (NZC) Director John Buchanan said Wright had done "a brilliant job", the paper said.
Wright’s resignation comes after the head coach, former New Zealand John
Wright, quit his position this month after giving notice in May, it
added. (ANI)
